There are several formats for the GIF images in this directory.

1.  The latest format is a side by side gif composite image made from a 
    direct image on the left and then a difference image on the right.
    To construct the difference image, an image is selected at an earlier
    time.  Image file names in this format are of the form:

    YYMMDD_HHMMcn.gif

    where:	YYMMDD is the date code
		HHMM is the hour and minute of the exposure
		cn designates the coronagraph (C2 or C3)

2.  A difference image format.  File names are of the form YYMMDD_cn.gif

3.  A direct image format.  File names are of the form deb_YYMMDDcn.gif
    
Files in the older formats (2 and 3) will be replaced by the newer one.
