LASCO/EIT CATALOG QUERIES

The LASCO/EIT database may be searched by filling out a query form. The types of searches that can be made include a request to generate a list of images that were taken on a certain date, although much more intricate queries are possible. The database contains information about the images, not the images themselves. Image information includes the telescope configuration, the camera configuration, the manner in which the image was compressed, etc.

To develop a search query, fill out the images query form, (shorter form available here) restricting the search as you desire. The search will not return more than 50 image names unless you request more.
The database also contains specially processed daily images. These images have not been filtered but have been processed only to remove a constant background.
