The star clouds of Sagittarius in the direction of the galactic center are at the bottom of the field.
The famous nebula M8 (the Lagoon Nebula), M20 (the Trifid Nebula) and M21, an open cluster are the bright blue objects at the east edge (left) of the field.
The globular cluster M22 is visible as a hazy spot at the east (left) of the field.
