AF Space Test Program SOLWIND Experiment

In 1979 the SOLWIND white light coronagraph was launched on the Air Force Space Test Program satellite P78-1. SOLWIND returned images of the solar corona from 29 March 1979 through 13 September 1985. For more information about SOLWIND, you may contact webmaster@lasco-www.nrl.navy.mil

A catalog was created of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) of all of the CMEs observed by SOLWIND, and all of the Solwind data has been converted to the FITS data format. You can access these files at this location.
